What is it to be credentialed?  Know where to start? What should you study?

Being credentialed in the field of medical transcription is more important than ever.  There is current lobbying to make credentials a requirement to be able to work as a medical transcriptionist.  Med-Line has organized study groups and we are looking for dedicated and determined transcriptionists to study for a 16-week period  in preparation for the CQE examination.  The study group will consist of formal study and presentations, mock exams, reviews, and make-up sessions, and testing.  Med-Line will provide a complete study syllabus, webinars meetings, book list, study tips, exercises, and support to guide you through your preparation.  Registration cost is $75. The course requires some materials which you most likely already have.

We are currently accepting registration for the multiple Study Groups (See form to the right).  The groups are facilitated by Med-Line CMT Instructors who are currently practicing MTs and obtained their CMT credential through our initial study group (AHDI Credentialing Cup), therefore providing firsthand experience in preparation.  The group will consist of an orientation, followed by  formal sessions in the evenings (see form below), interactive reviews, and make-up sessions.  Group members will test at the conclusion of the study group.
