Maggie Thebeault, CMT, AHDI-F is the founder of Med-Line School of Medical Transcription, an AHDI-approved career school. She serves as program director and supervising instructor. Maggie has been involved in curriculum development and mentoring of students since 1990. She is the owner of Med-Line School of Medical Transcription, Med-Line School of Business and Technology, EMR OmniScribe, LLC, and Darleen’s Tea Room in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Maggie is a practicing medical transcriptionist since 1985, and has been involved with AHDI for many years with interests and committee positions in education, credentialing, and advocacy.

Originally from Texas, her current home is Lake Havasu City, Arizona, since December 2005. Med-Line School of Medical Transcription officially relocated to Arizona in 2010.

She is enrolled at CalCoast University working towards a degree in business by distance education. She is co-leader of the Advocacy Focus Group for AHDI-West, participates as an Arizona constituent in Washington DC with the Advocacy group, and is on various educational committees including the ACCP Committee for approved programs, Educators’ Alliance, and AHDI’s committee for the development of the Model Curriculum IV.

Hobbies include travel, shopping, hiking, embroidery, reading, writing, boating, motorcycle riding, handgun training, enjoying the grandkids, and working at the tea room.
